Robert Parkins
Dr. Robert Parkins is an emergency veterinarian in the San Diego area. He is currently the CEO and Co-founder of myBalto, which is a pet healthcare platform designed to put money back in your wallet. He started this company in conjunction with his brother, Nathan Parkins, to help address the growing financial strain of pet care in the US.
With myBalto, Dr. Parkins and Dr. Sam Dawson created Pawsit to help spread the word about accurate pet medical information and share innovative ideas and products in the pet industry to improve your pet's health.
Dr. Parkins is originally from Michigan and went to Kalamazoo College for undergrad where he played four years of varsity soccer. He graduated with a degree in Biology and went to Michigan State University for his veterinary degree.
He has been working in ER medicine for the last seven years between Chicago and San Diego. He currently lives with his furry companion, Loki, a 12 year old husky.
